Bobyard is AI takeoff and estimating software built for trade contractors to increase their bid capacity and accuracy without adding headcount or manual estimating work.
What construction trades does Bobyard support?
As of Q4 2026, Bobyard supports six trades: landscaping, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, interior finishes, and paving. Each has its own trade-specific takeoff model. Landscaping and paving maintenance aerial takeoffs can start from just an address using aerial imagery.
What is AI takeoff software?
AI takeoff software reads construction drawings and aerial imagery and detects the quantities an estimator would otherwise count and measure by hand. Bobyard uses trade-specific models, so they are far more accurate than general AI or models generally developed for construction.
Who does the takeoff, the AI or my estimator?
Both. The AI does the first pass across the drawings. Your estimator reviews each detection, using the confidence score on it, before it is locked into the estimate, so the estimator stays in control of scope and final pricing.
