The Challenge: Hours-long manual takeoffs that limited the Elite team
Before Bobyard, takeoffs at Elite were slow, manual, and hard to scale. With everyone racing to get bids out the door, the slow pace of manual measuring was capping how many jobs Elite could even compete for.
"Takeoffs used to take me somewhere between four and six hours, because I was measuring pretty manually,” explained Michael Shutz, Product Applications Manager at Elite Landscaping.
For Luis Villarruel, the Divisional Operations Manager, whose team handles a large share of public works contracts, the manual process meant physically covering ground just to get a measurement.

"In a week, I was able to do at least two to three bids. Now I'm able to do close to double that,” said Luis.
For Michael, it’s even faster.
