The Challenge: Bid volumes that required a full-time estimator and better tools

Frederico Outdoor Living is a Utah-based landscaper with a mix of about 90% residential and 10% commercial projects, with bids as far as Wyoming.

With Utah's cold winters putting a squeeze on the calendar, that left the Frederico Outdoor Living team processing 10 to 20 bids in a single week. On top of that, commercial projects could arrive with zero takeoff detail on the plans, meaning potentially weeks of manual work to get it sorted out.
